WISDOM :

ADORE volunteers connect with the senior citizens, to sensitize the youth on the role they play in society, as well as to learn from their experience and wisdom. The basic objective is to meet senior citizens and get to know their life experiences and wisdom and learn from them. This will benefit the youth and society. It will also build a strong inter-generational connection, and motivate the seniors to be more involved in society. It will also motivate the youth to be more respectful of their elders, and realize their role in society. The elderly citizens also get some company and can spend their time with the youth.

The topics of discussion are around :

• Their fond childhood memory.
• Hobbies, and aspirations.
• Experiences and anecdotes that shaped their lives or had a lasting impact on them.
• Since how long are they here and under what circumstances- a brief life history.
• Words of advice for youngsters and things to learn from them.
